A Poem Written in Honor of the Birth of Noga Ruth Tagor July,  2010

IN THE STARRY STARRY NIGHTS OF MID SUMMER

In the starry starry nights of midsummer

In the far off skyNoga Ruth is born.

Great granddaughter of Ruth Stern

Starry starry nights.

Daughter of my  younger sister:

Elana Tamar and husband Lior

Yield your first fruits Noga

Yield for your mother,For your father.

Shine, shine in the far off night.

Shine, shine bright,

So great grandmother – survivor of kristall-nach

Ruth, daughter of Sigmund Ari, can see for eternity

Second granddaughter of Saba Stanley

Of Oma Marlene

Yield, yield your flaming light.

Deep, deep

Into the starry, starry night sky.
